One of our top stylists chrissie smith who has been working at arena for over five years has recently tied the not with marlon Johnson . It was a magical day with lots of arena hair doos. Congratulations to them both.

Congratulations to Fiona Marks of Widewell in Plymouth when she won her first ever competition in the plymouth magazine recently. Owner of Arena Hairdressers, Lara Davis, has won the GHQ Training Learner of the Year Award. GHQ Training teaches trades such as child care, hairdressing and beauty therapy. GHQ's four Learner of the Year finalists not only achieved qualifications but also 'shone in their areas of expertise' said GHQ managing director, Jean Rogers.

Lara has now completed her NVQ level 4 in management.

The top prize went to Lara who was presented her award at the UPC Marjon Plymouth Raiders Match against Milton Keynes at the Plymouth Pavillions.

Arena's Mother & Daughter Makeover Competition in association with Uno Boutique and 'The Oracle' magazine had a huge number of entries but our winners, Angela and Helen Purdy were lucky enough to win the prize including a new colour and style, professional makeup session, lessons to achieve the same look at home, photography by a professional photographer and clothes for the shoot from Uno boutique.
